Using the video library
How to Search for Footage?
By category only
To search using just one category, select a category from the drop-down list and click 'Search'
By category and a sub category
Choose a category as above, then a sub category from the drop-down list and click 'Search'
Category, sub category and keyword search combined
Category, sub category, if applicable, and then enter in a keyword(s) to refine your quick search and click 'Search'
Video title
If you know the video title, enter it in to the video title box and click 'Search'
Production date
If you want to specify a time period, choose a date from, then a date to and click 'Search'
Keyword search
The 'Keyword search' can be used independently or in addition to the category and sub category fields.
Type in the keyword(s) relevant to your search and click 'Search'
Keyword list
Click on 'Keyword list' to bring up a list of the most popular keywords. Click 'All' to view all or click on a letter to bring up keywords starting with the same letter.
Most popular keywords box
Choose one of the most popular keywords. The list is updated according to most popular searches.
Most requested box
The six most popular videos are listed. Choose from most requested or most viewed video.
Latest video box
This shows the most recent video added to the BAA video library.
What if I can't find what I want?
Please call the BAA video library to discuss your requirements. If no footage is available please commission footage from one of our video company suppliers.
What should I do if I'm experiencing problems using the video library?
If your problem is of a technical nature and you are a BAA employee, in the first instance please call the BAA IT helpdesk on (01)55355. They will ascertain if the problem is related to your PC or the video library. If you are a third party user, or if the problem is specific to the library functionality, please contact the library direct on 0800 652 78787.
If you are unable to find the footage you need, please contact the BAA video library. If we receive a number of requests for particular footage we will endeavour to take new footage for the library.
